My name is Nice, and I am a teacher who upholds excellence and values. I am an optimistic individual who enjoys meeting new people and sharing stories and experiences with them. I love both the outdoors and animals. I've loved English since I was young, which allows me to communicate effectively with those who speak it as their first language. I am fond of reading and speaking in English. I earned a Bachelor’s in Filipino Education from Philippine Normal University, Mindanao. I am a Licensed Professional Teacher and a TESOL Certificate earner. Although I have a bachelor's degree in Filipino education, I can teach English efficiently since Filipino and English languages are interconnected with a common goal: to communicate proficiently. I have done tutorial sessions for quite a long time that serve as my training ground to enrich my expertise in the English language. I have also experience teaching grade school for 4 months and college for almost six years. In light of my graduate studies and years of experience, I established a teaching strategy in which I strive to adapt communicative approaches and depend significantly on task-based philosophy. As a language teacher, I believe in contextualizing the language through the balanced integration of all modalities (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) by concentrating on giving adequate input to support the growth of output. Centering language teaching on learners’ personal needs and real-life situations through authentic materials is an effective way for integrating language teaching and achieving the objectives of the language class. Teaching has always been my passion; thus, I always give my all in every class. I ensure that my students learn and progress while still having fun. I hope you'll be able to join me in my class.
