| 自己紹介 | Hello! My name is Eloise, please call me Elley. I am a 31-year-old mother of three from Johannesburg, South Africa. I own a small tutoring business, which I started in 2014. I teach English, Afrikaans and Mathematics extra classes to young students. I have traveled to around 14 countries and have a lot of experience working with people from different backgrounds. I finished my TEFL 120 hour in-class certificate through American company, Entrust TEFL in Chiang Mai, Thailand. This course included studying the Thai culture and Buddhist religion. I went on to work at a government primary school where I taught K1-3 and P1-2, lead groups at English Camps in school holidays and then worked at an English Language school on weekends. I also had an a private Grade 4 student whom I tutored in English at home. I lived in Thailand foout two years before I came back to South Africa to continue my studies and start a family. I have a rather good understanding of Asian cultures as I have not only lived in Asia in the past, but my husband is also Chinese. I have been very intrigued by the different Asian countries and cultures since childhood. I completed my higher certificate in Adult Basic Education and Training through the University of South Africa (UNISA). NOTICE: Please note that, since I live in South Africa, there will be times that I will have to cancel lessons due to the national power crisis and blackouts (load-shedding). Unfortunately, this is out of my control and I will try to work around this as best I can. My apologies in advance. |

- 私にとって難しい長文穴埋めの間違えたところを丁寧に説明、解説してくれました。 お子さんもいるので、時間通りに切り上げなければいけないところ、私が何度も聞き直して、時間もオーバーしてしまったのに、快く答えてくれました。日本語ができるのかは分かりませんが、粘り強く教えてくれます。ありがとうございました。
